Robin, thanks he is a good kid. OMG the NEX is wonderful, I had a ball inside there.

I use skype I could not live without skype. We also talk on fb because he can use fb at work, he works on a computer so we can talk alot. Not too much on the cell phone that gets expensive.

Robin how is your daughter doing? I know you don't get to talk to her too much.

Carrie it was so great to meet her because we talk all the time, I kind of felt like I knew her. I told Amber not to bring Stephen around when you are there because he is so silly at time. LOL So many you will not meet him. Yes the bigger base was nice, wait until you see their NEX, I had so much fun in there, they have everything. I know you will enjoy it. Stephen just told me that he is up for the Blue Jacket award. Trying to find out what that is, my understanding is it is for someone who goes up and beyond their job. I know Stephen voluntees a lot for things and is very helpful. I know he had to train a Petty Officer to take over her crew and got nothing for it. Well he also got a promotion Supervision of his watch, so Monday he was back to work and told me what a great first day back for him.

It will all work out, you just look forward to seeing your daughter, I know she is very excited about you coming. She really lives on a nice base.

Yes it is hard with the animals Shawna is 14 so she is use to home and me. Daisy is almost 4 so she did just fine. I guess I will not be leaving Shawna anymore. You also have a great week! Stephen goes back to work tonight he really had a nice vacation. LOL

Carrie I asked Paul about a charge about the ATM with Capital One and he did not know buy you can go on line or just call them to see if there is a fee. I was really glad I had the euro with us, it worked out good for us. Also it worked really well with the tours we had choice, no line and right in, I was really glad we did that. In Naples we did not do so much of that because Stephen knew where we wanted to go and we went so it worked out really well for us.

Samantha is the one who took the picture, and I wanted to take more pictures, I wanted one with Amber but it just went buy too fast and then more friends came and I did not want to bother Amber to take a picture, we had a great time.

Robin, yes the water and the mountains were beautiful, it is a site to see, I know Stephen loves it so that is all that matters to be, but me I don't think I would like it, the trip was great and seeing Stephen was the best but it was a nice place to visit but it was great to come home.

Yes you have to call two weeks before you travel to the banks and when you come home so they know you are home. The banks do ask the dates but it is a good idea to call them when you get home. I could not use any of my banks to get money without a fee, Capital One credit card had no charge to use their card so we did use that all the time. We used our ATM from our checking account and took out a lot for a little fee so that worked out for us. Every bank had a different limit so you have to be careful of that.

Annie J you are welcome, it was some trip. I took over 400 pictures. LOL Do you think I took enough???

Carrie we did order money from our bank before we left also so we had money when we got there, we got to Paris so early in the morning I just wanted to have money and not the euro is down so the exchange is even better now.

I thought the pictures would bring tears to your eyes it would be, you got to see your baby and to see she is doing great and is happy. I know Capital One does not charge you for using it as a credit card but we used our ATM card from our checking for money. You can exchange money on base at the NEX so we did that too. I will ask Paul about the ATM with Capital One when he gets home, he and my daughter went to MI for the weekend I had to take my dog Shawna to the vet she did not do so well being away from me so long she is 14, she stopped eating and going potty, but I think the vet fixed her up today I will see how she is tomorrow. I guess she is a potato girls. LOL I told her not to take you to that place to eat with that loud band, she just laughed. LOL

Yes it is. We did not have time to climb it, we spent too much time in Pompei. We walked everywhere, we probably walked at lease 6 miles a day, we all lost weight and we ate but with all that walking it just melted off. LOL It was great Robin, we really saw a lot.
