Robin that is also a good idea. These cost me $19.00 but I have a $5 off and a 20% off and you got several sizes inside the box so I thought that would work out well.

No Carrie they are really neat, you put your clothes in them and roll the bag and the air goes out and cannot come back in so it looks just like the ones with the vacuum cleaner, I got mine from Bed, Bath & Beyond. I can pack the whole house. LOL

You know what I bought was the saver bags, you roll them and the air comes out and you can fit a lot more in your bags, so I tried them and they work good so that is what I am going to do. I iron everything today and it is all laying out on the bed upstairs, little by little but with those saver bags I will only be taking one suitcase and I bought some bags for my daugher also.

No sleeper car for us either, you know what I am going try are those bags you roll and get the air out of and makes everything compact, going Thurs to Bed, Bath and Beyond and checking it out. I am hoping to take one bag. Ihave a big strong sailor to help me with my bags. LOL

Robin how is the weather now there at the end of May and the beginning of June? I think the rainning season is over now, I hope so. LOL

LOL no problem Carrie, any thing for your mom. I think Stephen told me the weather is really nice now around 80 or maybe a little warmer, now that is perfect I don't like it too hot when walking around a lot outside. Carrie wish we were going at the sametime that would of been so much fun and then I would of met Amber's mom. LOL

Robin, I am so happy for you so your Mother's Day was great! WOW boy that is too hot for me 103, I would just like 75 here, it has been cold and wet here.

Carrie, I just took the luggage out so I will see what I am taking. We are also taking a train, Stephen is more worried about what is going to fit into his car. LOL He said whatever does not fit says at the airport. LOL I guess Iwill be living at the airport. LOL I think Amber and Stephen went to dinner the other day. I hate that these kids have no where to get food, it really mads me mad and $10 a day for food is not enough. Tell you mom it will all work out, the best part is that you will get to see Amber. Don't worry you will be going before you know it. I only had 8 days of work left before vacation. YEA!

AnnieJ, I love RickSteve, I go on his website all the time and watch him on TV. I ordered a back pack to take on my trip. Your trip almost sounds like mine and you are right the best part of the trip is to see my son. I will get to spend 10 days with him, this is his first request for leave since he has been there. Can't wait! Enjoy AnnieJ!

Robin I hope you hear from your sailor. Well it was a bit easier for Stephen to call, I talked to him Sat., and Sunday, and my daughter also called so everyone check in and I got a beautiful card from my daughter so my kids did good. LOL

Carrie my son says your daughter and my son talks about us like we are crazy people. LOL Stephen tells me all the time get off that site. LOL He is only kidding, I usually know more then he does, he told Amber I will be looking for her and to give her a hug, I guess she will be hiding now. LOL

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! Robin did you get to talk to your sailor????
