No don't feel it here in Missouri, we are kind of wondering since we are between Co and the east coast if the two will jack up our fault lines, not worried about it but curious. We had a 5.2 quake in 2008, and felt a smaller one about a month or so ago that rattled the house very slightly but could still hear the awful noise the ground makes. Lol My son said one of his instructors mentioned to them today.

He has Options A-G that he is considering for when he gets out and yes, at least 5 for of them are related to law enforcement.  August 2010 (the whole month) was the first time he was home since right before Christmas 2008.  He did that on purpose though so that the Navy paid for it and not him because he didn't come back to the states between his first and second duty stations.  He came home for 10 days when his father was hospitalized in November--the Red Cross was wonderful with helping with that.  He will be home in September, but is seeing family in other parts of the US as well, so I will see him for a couple of weeks tops.  Flights for leave are paid for by the Sailor and it's pretty steep to where he is now, so that also affects that.  He is going to try military flights this time, which means he has to allow more time between his leaving here and when he has to be back in case he gets bumped.  He has had girlfriends visit him in Greece (his first PDS) and also in his current country, but I have not been in a position to do so yet.  Others with MAs see them several times a year depending on where they are stationed.  One mom I am friends with sees her daughter about one weekend every 4-6 weeks.

Will your sailor continue in Law Enforcement when he gets out? And I guess my biggest question is does he come home much?  Sorry for all the questions, but like I said as a new Navy Mom it is all very interesting to me.
