For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

It's hard not knowing! That is the purpose for this group. Most likely if you are here your SR has had trouble keeping up or not passed a PFA due to some sort of minor medical issue. Often it stress fractures bringing SR's here. Know this when you don’t get a call that is a very good thing. Calling them is not a good thing and it can negatively impact your SR to have his or her “Mommy“ calling! They are harder on them in this DIV than any other. They want them up and out. The best thing you can do is sends tons of mail. Send scripture and motivational mail. I know my SR said reading the Bible was considered a sign of weakness here. When you get a tearful call motivate. Stay positive and encourage you SR. This is a small detour to greatness and getting the I'm a Sailor call! Recruit family and friends…“Navy mom friends are the best“…to send your SR mail as well. NMH for you all!!

My daughter left June 30, 21 ended up being sent to the ER before going to RTC to have her gall bladder removed. She left the hospital on July 5th and is now in RCU. I have not heard from her to see…Continue

What a wonderful early Christmas present!!! I am so happy for you. We are still praying for ours. Please don't be a stranger. I have really come to enjoy talking with you. Heck, don't just stick around to help the new moms, continue to help us "old' ones as well.

@CoastalKat: I think I already told you Congratulations on Facebook but...IDK :-) I am so happy that he is out of RCU and getting ready to embark into the great unknown :-) God is good. Got the call tonight...he is a sailor! He finished battlestations this morning. He's now in THU awaiting his A-school orders and,hopefully, might be able to make a trip home! He said it felt weird to walk around side by side with a buddy & not be marching.

CoastalKat... Wonderful. We are praying and burning our blue lights. I truly understand the butterflies and anxiousness of the Moms the closer PIR got back in Nov. I am so ready as I know you are as well. I know our kids are ready.
Phillies.... You are so right!!! Just hearing their voice does a momma's heart good. I am glad she is doing well. We are praying for her as well.

Got a call yesterday. Hopefully, he'll be completing Battlestations tomorrow! Yeah!

We received a call yesterday. My husband was able to talk to him. He is still progressing but it is all up to the doctor's opinion now. Praying for Friday.

@Phillies: Of course that would be wonderful and there's nothing wrong with hope :-) its a must while our children are there and hurt and we can't be there to supervise their treatment and jsut be mom's. I by no means was trying to be a downer. Wishing your daughter a very speedy recovery and all the best of luck.

That was just wishful thinking :). I do think it would be awesome for her to get into THU before the holidays lights come down.
