Hi Everyone,

I don't think I've been on since graduation - or maybe once since then.  Is anyone else's Sailor in Goose Creek, SC?  My Sailor is there for Machinists Mate "A" School.  The hours they are putting in are grueling! 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM it seems to me.  I usually get one phone call per week and an occasional text message.  I too went on the Nuclear Power School site but it seemed to me that the discussion was mostly politics.  Not really what I was looking for.  Glad you are all still active here.

Anita - Glad you are okay!  My worst fear; being crushed on the thruway.  A good vehicle protects its passengers.  Good Jeep!

That's funny Kimmie, our daughter got lost several times when she and her buddies went out exploring San Antonio! Bless their hearts! LOL

Not sure where she is yet.  Yeah, she flew into Norfolk, VA (along with at least 6 other new sailors that were on her same flight) on Tuesday but I have not heard from her since.  She was not sure if she was going to be sent off to her ship that same day, a day later or what.  Nothing is ever written in stone and the Navy is proof.  Got a gut feeling my Jeep is giong to be totalled out.  Oh well, time to look for another one.  Cannot beat them, little Sherman tanks - they are!

Took my daughter to the airport - on her way to THE BUSH... on the way home on the interstate, bumper to bumper traffic, stop and go....well, traffic came to a stop and the semi behind me didn't!  Totally crushed the driver's rear side of my Jeep.  Yes I watched him come at me, attempt to stop, swerve to the left and ram me.  Then pushed me into the car in front of me.  Nothing hurt (physically) but my poor Wrangler, gave the car in front of me a "butt-tuck" and damage to the semi that hit me.  Word of Advice - buy a Wrangler!  They take a beating and keep moving!  I thank God I was not in a '95 Camaro we own...don't even want to think what might possibly of happened if I was in that vehicle.

Update: The Dr had Norman do a Lyme's Disease Blood Test. And they are doing a Hyperglycemia test tomorrow morning and then hopefully on Thursday an upper GI. And still looking for an Internal Medicine Dr. to look at the rest of him. - he is exhausted from hurting so much - he is eating very little - but very bland foods. Please pray - We are so very tired.
