Hello everyone.  I haven't been on the sight forever.  My daughter is stationed in Connecticut.  She was just home for a visit and just left out today.

Within next 6 months (or so), daughter will be off to go to the "sandbox".  Serious, scary stuff but I know she's up for it.  Often wonder where everyone's gone off to, how they are doing.  Prayers and well wishes to all as the Halloween season comes near and Turkey Day and other holidays approach.  Happy Turkey-Mas-New-Years to everyone  :-)

T-minues 42 hours...where were you at that time a year ago?  I bet you were getting up to go see your loved one P.I.R.  Sitting in line with all the other cars waiting to enter the gates, go through security and enter that huge hall.  Here's to our loved ones, here's to US surviving their boot camp days and the year that followed.  Miss chatting with you guys.  (Raising a glass)  "TO US!!!"

I ready to raise a glass and celebrate all ours sailors accomplishments over the past year!  Time has just flown.  I still tear up thinking about that moment I seen him for the first time in his dress whites at PIR.

Found out there is another 02/944 for 2012.  Can't believe 11 days and one year ago we were the ones getting up before the chickens to see our little ones PIR.  MY how time has flown.
