thats wonderful! see i told you phase2 went fast.no news from angie today i'm hoping soon! please keep us posted on her progress and i'll do the same. praying for all of them.
Yay!! Just had a real fast call from my girl, she was calling from the dr's ofc. she said they haven't been able to call bc the boys got in trouble so they all had their ohone privlieges yanked. Just glad it wasn't her fault!! lol!! Sounded like she was going to cry, but kept her talking and she was a little better. She's at phase 3 now, so she is happy about that!
Thank you guys, if the girls in there have half the heart you all do, my daughter is in great company!
Hi ladies, i just wanted to chime in here. My daughter was in RCU/Fit from 2 days before her PIR (8/13) until 9/21. She was determined to NOT be in BC while her brother was there. He arrived on the 20th of Sept. She made great and wonderful friends, she was active in the Chapel. She was in with another girl that was to PIR at the same time. This girl was just having an issue with her PFA. So 5 days before my daughter finally finished this young lady did finish. She was able to text me with updates on how my girl was doing and relay messages back and forth (not really allowed but....). This girl is a forever friend of my daughter. She has a place in my heart, if this girl needed something I would bust my back to help her get this. We all went like 3 weeks with no calls. Hard after we had gotten calls 2 sometimes 3 times a week. She also got to know the RDC's. One has the same job my daughter has. They would sit and talk about what she would be doing and how she would excel seeing she never stopped trying.
My girl had a hard time with her last PFA. She tried running it and they actulaaly let her run again 48 hours later. We get the call 2 days before PIR that she has been moved. Then 2 days later I get a call, she has had surgery (minor) for a cyst, and another is being drained daily. She was sick and the day they moved her, she was running a temp of 103. She was so sick and had been. She almost passed out trying to finish this run to grad on time. Then later she developed an issue with her jaw due to stress. She was on a soft diet. She hated this, the RDC's bought her ensure to make sure she was getting adequate nutrition. The RDC's want to see these SR's finish. They know the ones that are trying hard.
She did great there, she did do BS21 right from RCU, and was then moved to ship 5 (THU) where she was on hold for a week. We made the trip to GL 2 times. Once with her friends and then on the weekend with just family.
Hold can depend on when her orders show up.
These girls will make it. Just remember to encourage them all the time. Be the biggest cheerleader for them.
after angie went in to phase 2 things seem to go a little faster and get alittle better for her. so hang in there you are not alone and neither is she. we are all in this together!
