Hi Lauren and all,

Just dropped in to let folks know that my daughter has safely returned from Haiti and doing humanitarian relief efforts. I'm so proud of her shipmates and the Navy for actually being, A global force for good!! Thank all who kept her in your thoughts and/or prayers. I can now breathe a sigh of relief....at least until March...lol

Try having only one! One day here, the next, all gone.... I was looking through some old discussions somewhere, they were talking about going to the grocery store the first time after a 'cub' left home & how it affected them. I was so glad to see I wasn't the only one who nearly lost it in a supermarket aisle.

My friend has met some nice ones, just not the ultimate one yet. Only had one really bad date, she called me in a panic from the guy's boat, he'd taken her out for a picnic, he drank (she doesn't) and he passed out! That was interesting... Roger's a good name - plus you can't goof up and call one by the other's name ;)
