FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey guys, how's everyone doing?? I'm so glad that yesterday my son and I received several calls from our sailor girl as she has finally arrived in her port. She seemed happy and excited but I would be too if I were in FL!! Well, right now here in MI it hitting the high, mid 80s. Yeaa!!

Don't ya know I had to find out from a mom on here that my daughter's ship is actually there to help celebrate guess what...er, uh.... FLEET WEEK Wait a minute, didn't you just go to Mardi Gras last month? Are you sure you work for the Navy? Wow, it must be nice....makes me wish I was still young enough to enlist myself. Maybe they won't check my ID. LOL

Liz please don't pay to much attend to the first letter, if it is a little down ....you will be so pleased witht he next one.....I remeber my son first letter sounded like he thought he made a mistake and has since reinlisted .........

Yes it is not just about us single moms !!!!!
We need the single dads to keep us in line (yeah right ....when we got Jon talking about the topless coffee shop he goes to.....you'll have to check with him on that mike..lol)
I think it is great to have both sides represented. I love to hear both sides.
I'm trying to plan a get together/ cruise for our group so please leave your ideas in the discussion up top.........

Well I took my Psyc test and got 3 wrong (it an open book) and it was on memory .....oh well

Hi everyone .well physical therapy is over..........so now I have a psyc test to take and then a paper to get done...but I will be around for happy hour ....maybe that will make my paper better.
Dawn my son is stationed at Pearl he is on a fact attack........USS Tucson, but he lives on Aiea.....How does your daughter like it . I can't see Kellen every coming back to the mail land.

Hi everyone WOW Sherry what a blessing 90 is.
Jon sorry it was a quiet night I worked midnights last night and then had 6 hr staff/training meeting...........I can home and went night night
Hi Liz welcome to our wonderful.crazy group.............I see no one made drinks tonight....I'd love to promise my turn tomorrow. but I'm doing midnights again tonight........and tomorrow we have the march for babies and since I can't walk 3 miles yet I'm using a wheelchair so not sure if I will be able to stay awake or use my arms to type..............anybody have scype??????......LOL
Well I jope tomorrow is a blesse day for everyone.............huggs and miss talking to everyone.........keep the drinks cool
