Hi all,

Tonight I had the blessing to celebrate a neighbor and good friends auntie's 90th birthday!! Wow, imagine that 90 years old and reasonably healthy. Anyway sorry I missed out on all the fun with drinks and whatnots but it was actually warm in MI this weekend so I took advantage of it. Hope that everyone is having a great weekend also!! Goodnight all.

Wendy,
It's good to hear that Jim is getting nicely settled in NY. Getting settled in their place for the start of prototype is a very exciting time in a nuc's life, and one he'll never forget. Best of luck to him there - let's hope for no more lengthy shutdowns. We have a team here at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard that is doing mockup training for a job at one of the sites in NY soon, I can't remember which of the plants they'll be working on, I think either S8G or S3G/MARF. I don't think that particular shutdown will be much more than a month, though...

I agree with Kelly.......when he gets a little older he will really appreciate it ...I would always tell my son I'm sorry about this and that .....and he always thanks me and tells me he knows everything I did out of love , so it couldn't have been better.
