Hey Kelly ~ for a minute I thought you were here in MI as your description of your local weather was so similiar to ours. 50s one day, 70s another...strictly as a tease of course. It is still April. However the forecast for the weekend is in the 70s!! Lucky you being only 5 hours away from your sailor!!

Jon ~ 2 kayaks?! Gosh, you're such a man's man!! Hooooorah!!

Wendy ~ do you have a spare bedroom down there in FL?! I love sunny and 80s but rarely see it here! lol Are you near Daytona Beach? Love Bike Week!
Congratulations on your son's brillance and hard work!! Wow, asked to be an instructor sounds like a pretty huge honor to me. Please keep us posted.

Everyone have a great Navy day!!

Hey Jon ~ like you I also enjoy the warm weather of course here in MI that is a rare occurence. lol Today I would have been singing "rain, rain go away, come again..." but I'm afraid that the snow may return.

Lauren, you're ARE funny but that's what I like best about you...ooops I forgot about your big heart too!! Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Yesterday, my church sponsored a viewing of the Kirk Cameron movie, Fireproof, its about a young couple who are having serious marital problems and they're contemplating divorce. It's a Christian movie and I really enjoyed it though it starts abit slow.

Even though though whole Fireproof and love dare series (movie & self help books) are primarily for married couples I figure maybe the info may come in handy one day. I even got a few ideas on how to have better communication with my kids. Will be trying a few ideas out this week!!

Well, everyone have a great day and what ever you do...SMILE!!

and ..........

Have you noticed since everyone has a camcorder these days no one talks about seeing UFOs like they used to?

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, 'I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here and drink whatever comes out?'

Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.
The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

Yes the video was another box of kleenex.....if I keep spending my money on kleenex I won't have enough for the cruise next year.......
I have a couple od funnies I thought I'd share with you all.....by the way I'm not up at 3:00 because I'm partying, oe because I can't sleep ....I"m at work
. A friend of mine confused her Valium with her birth control pills... she has 14 kids but doesn't really care.

. One of life's mysteries is how a 2-pound box of chocolates can make a woman gain 5 lbs.

The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you are doing, someone else does.

Skinny people irritate me! Especially when they say things like...'You know sometimes I forget to eat!' .....Now I've forgotten my address, my mother's maiden name and my keys, but I have never forgotten to eat. You have to be a special kind of stupid to forget to eat!

The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing and then they marry him

I read this article that said the typical symptoms of stress are eating too much, impulse buying, and driving too fast. Are they kidding? That's my idea of a perfect day!

Hey Kelly, thanks for the info on your camera. I was able to find the camera on Amazon for under $300 but I'm also considering a Panasonic model with same zoom lens for about $30 less. Basically, we already have a bit of family history with Panasonic cameras.

Cheryl, hope and pray all is well with your sister's s/o. Still praying for him to heal.

Hope everyone's having an awesome day and I'm off to enjoy the 70+ degree day while I can!!

Jon, weren't you supposed to be getting a spanking or something?!

Like Cheryl says, Everyone TGIF ;>D
