Cheryl, interesting situation. Certainly glad to hear your day is starting to pick up a bit! ;>) Sounds like your guy may need to spend more time with you without a lot of pressure. Maybe this is the hard part where you take it r-e-a-l s-l-o-w. lol

Kelly, I rooting for your son to pass his test the next go round.

I have a situation like that right now too, where I like this guy and I think he likes me but I'm not very forward and apparently he hasn't master the art of making the first move. Well, actually now I think he tried a couple of times but it went right over my head. We're suppose to get together sometime this week to "talk" and I haven't the foggiest what to say to him. I feel like I'm back in high school. Uggggh.

Ok everyone I have spent time turning pages and catching-up. This group is the reason I wanted to start the group.........Tonia welcome to this great group of friends. Cheryl OMG you also made me LOL. Wendy you better put those x-ray glasses away and keep the clothes on......
I think the pic's disappearing has something to do with a problem with Adobe Flash Player and I can't get it to work on this site. I know that the site had a problem with people coming in with spam I'm wondering if they might be trying to clean it up.
Well I paid my fee for Match.com.....I think the first NO THANKS is the hardest....
I'm at a time in my life that it is just like graduating High School. ( with more responsibility's ) My youngest is 18, I lost both my jobs because of this injury, so I'm back in school, and I live in a town of 1500 people ( best place to raise my sons) which is to small for me ... So I feel that my life it wide OPEN to change....but for as exciting as it is , it is also scary ( I'm not as willing to live in my car if I need to )
So here I go out into the big wide world, I wonder where I'll land???
For anyone new or that missed the conversation on the book....We are having a traveling book Act Like a Lady , but Think Like a Man.....we are reading it and passing it on . The only requirement is that we write our comments in it (this is a present to myself)...so anyone that wants to get on the list just email me at onlylauren59@yahoo.com we could use or guys to help us out here and let us know if what he says in the book it true !!
Ok I promise not to be gone for so long that I write on and on ......
huggs my friends

LOL. Cheryl, yes I know the feeling of dating THOSE guys. Seriously though, what do you do when the guy who wants to date you sounds good on paper, is a lovely person but you just don't want that type of relationship with him??

Wendy, good point. We are all divorced for a reason. Unfortunately, stats will bear out that fact that there are less men to women as we age. Then add in other undesireable situations and well it just seems like there aren't any good men left. I said SEEMS like though. And yes, many of us (maybe them too) have waited to get serious until our children have a leg up in life. Thank goodness my son is graduating in June this year!! ;>)

Thanks for the affirmation about deserving a wonderful partner too!!

Kelly ~ I hope and pray that your heart heals fully and completely! Sure that a lot of us ladies and gent(s) can relate to putting up a wall after having been hurt.
