Hi everyone - I'm Mo. I'm a single mom going through this BC thing alone. I've found the support that I need on this site - so I am grateful today... MY SR left on 6/8. I've got the box and the letter (well, kinda) and I'm waiting for the first letter...! As a matter of fact, I was leaving my driveway in my car, and the mailman was walking up it with letters in hand.. I nearly RAN him OVER! LOL

Hello, I'm new here! My Daughter is on her 1st Deployement. My Son-in-law is also serving. & My Son's job is far away. So I'm here to learn & could use some advice. It's comforting to know that all of you are here too!

Oh ok, I had to read back as I couldn't remember that in Jan. she said she was on medical discharge for 15 months which not a discharge but a medical leave. A discharge means you are not qualified to go back.

Good decsion not to reenlist when you are finished with your current commitment, Cherylm, hopefully the ecomony will be better soon and with your Veteran status you can find a good civilian job, which will allow you to better balance your family and career.
