Remember that if you do fly into Chicago/Milwaukee for PIR that the quoted prices for anything does not always include the taxes and fees!  One of the families that flew from Washington State (4 people - round trip tickets), actually spent more $$$ on the rental car and hotel (taxes and fees) than the airfare!  Ask for pricing/fees/taxes up front... once you get those basic rates, then ask if they give a Military discount (not before).  The drive was really very nice up to Great Lakes and our total cost for the five days was around $1000.00.  Seeing my son graduate on 4/1/11... was Priceless!

You know we do Donna!  I hate that it is raining in PA because my son who is stationed in WA is there right now and he was so looking forward to not seeing rain everyday.  Hey when he comes home on leave next month I bet we get rain the entire time he is home since it seems to follow him.  No for his sake I hope it doesn't rain then.
