@hk1853 - Wow that was fast.  My SR arrived in Great Lakes on 11/28.  We also received the box 3 days later on 12/1.  However, it took 2 full weeks to get the form letter which arrived today.  I was so relieved when it arrived.

SR arrived in Great Lakes 12/5.  Got his box three days later, and form letter today :)

Hello everyone.  New to the group. My SR is in SHIP 03 DIV 056

She left for BC 11/28/11 I finally received the Form Letter today.  Whew!  I was getting worried.  Apparently she had 2 weeks of P-Days.  Not sure why.  We just found out her PIR will be 2/3/12.  That's a week later than we expected, but it's because she had an extra week of processing.  She said the food is great, her hair looks like crap & she really needs a shower.  She's a funny girl.  I'm was so happy to hear from her.  Now if I could just get a phone call to hear her voice.

Hello and welcome. My son graduated Bootcamp on 10/8/10 with a SEAL contract. I have started a SEAL/SWCC discussion above to help with any of the 800 division questions.

Thanks FireTeamLeaderWife

Okay...I just loaded up your Discussion Forum with info!

Some of your discussions look like they "disappeared"...they have not...just click "View All" on the lower right hand side of the discussion forum area and then scroll through the pages to find your discussion.

Here is some general info on how the Discussion Forum area works:

The Discussion Forum area will only show twenty titles at a time. It is also set to show the "latest activity". So whatever has just had a reply added to it will "bump" up to the top. Whatever is at the bottom will disappear. So, if you want to see more click, "view all" at the bottom right hand corner of the discussion forum area. It is right up there above the Blue Comment Wall bar.

To "bump" up a discussion to the first spot of the DF area when you don't really want to add a reply...in other words someone is looking for it...just type whatever you want in the reply box and click "add reply". I just type one letter and add the reply. Then get rid of it by clicking the "x" in the top right hand corner. The discussion will stay up there at the top without your reply. It's because it has had "activity".

When you view a DF the first post ever made will be the first page. To get to the most current reply, click “Last Reply”.

Alicia, we did recently have a group that was told that they would get in trouble if they received Christmas cards.  It all depends on the individual RDC's, but we will see what we can find out for you.  I have posted the question on the RTC Facebook and hopefully, will have an answer tomorrow.

Does anyone know about sending Christmas cards to our SR's? I have heard not to and then I have heard it is ok as long as the envelopes are white and the cards dont play music.
