My MNson is getting sent to Bahrain. He is so excited to be able to see the world.
So far from what my son tells me is that there is a lot of sunshine and things to keep him busy at A school. He's been in San Diego since January and I haven't 'seen him since he graduated boot camp, but I get to talk to him daily so it's not so bad. He loves the Navy, and I can't wait til spring break to make a trip to see beautiful San Diego and him.
Beverly my son just started a school this week after being on hold for school to start for a month. He loves San Diego.
Can anyone give me any insight on how it’s like for their mineman sailor? My son is in BC now, but after he graduates is supposed to go to A school to train to be a mineman.
Hello Ladies,
My new-to-the-navy son got orders for a minesweeper in Bahrain. Freaking out here in NY. What do I need to know? What's involved? Can I meet up with him in Dubai for Christmas?
TIA!
