For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by Teach on April 7, 2012 at 2:57pm: Just got off the phone with my SR from 922. So amazing to talk to him .... he didn't have girlfriends phone number with him when they got the privilege of going to Recruit Heaven, so he actually called us!!!!

We are so proud of these young men and women. Look forward to seeing my daughter and meeting many of my new friends if have met along this journey! Congratulations to everyone!!

I just know, that ever since my Sr's Dad died 4 years ago, I have been her main support (her Dad's family hasn't even written her or wished her luck before she left). She does have a wonderful step-dad and we love her, but I just want what's best for her! Go 121...thank you all, it's been so wonderful!

@mackay and shermur. We will be praying for your SRs just like I know everyone did for our 117 SR and she passed and so will yours. I am sure of it. I will post on our FB group for some extra prayers.
