@ mackay214...my Sr is kind of in the same boat...I have high hopes though. I've been told they can try every 48 hours to pass the part that they are failing prior to their specific Battlestations. Should they pass after their division battlestation, they partake battlestation with the next PIR group and get to attend the correct PIR just separated from the division because they were assigned to FIT...?

CONRATES TO OUR NEW SAILORS!!! AND PROUD PARENTS!!!
I am the mom of he SR who need to pass her PFA run (div 117).... I would like to say thank you to y'all for the prayers and words of encouragement ... SHE DID IT!!! ....
I talked to her for 16 min... said she just had a bad day... missed the run by 10 seconds... when she ran yesterday she took a whole 2 min off her time ... I told her i was so proud of her and she said "i know me too".... Lol ... she will do battle stations on next week.... then when she passes that she can go back to her ship and yes she will be graduating on 4/13 with her div 117... she said while she was in FIT she has seen 3 people from home (fellow DEP-ers ).... one of then even did b/s with her division ...i told her that maybe God thought she needed  to see a little piece of home... she said  "well that was an awful way to show me"...then she laughed a really good laugh.... it was the best thing i could of heard from her .... i told her i cried for 2 days at the thought not seeing her  and not being able to help her with this... she said "Yeah me too mom"... I love my baby!!! .... have a blessed day yall

What a great day!  Got the "I'm a Sailor" call around 2pm from my daughter.  Talked for 45 minutes and had her call her best friend who leaves in May for Great Lakes for her last 15 minutes of her hour long call.  It was so great.

Also, got great news that the SR we were praying for to pass her PFA was successful today!!!!!! So BS are in her future.

All around great day.

At FTLW: It also appears that there were no serious injuries in the plane crash.  How amazing considering it ended up in Apartments.  I hope that good news continues and the injured have a speedy recovery.  They are saying the pilot did an excellent job of dumping fuel prior to the crash which saved lives and deadly fires I am sure.  Well trained by our great Navy!

Good luck to all at Captains Cup!  Go 117!
