I don't know about you all, but I can hardly think straight right now.  My stomach is just in knots, I am so nervous about these next couple of days.  I am praying for all of our SR's.  Please let us all hear good news!

Thank you Dianne. I told her what you said and suggested she check here when she is off work.

I know she was having a hard time in pt.  if she didnt pass first time ( I know She did) wouldnt call come today?

Comment by diannep on April 4, 2012 at 7:32pm

Rla1164: I'm so sorry.  BUT...tell your friend not to cancel travel plans...because--she will get more chances to pass that run before PIR.  She will be transferred to FIT PROGRAM and will be given a chance to try again every 48 hours. So her next try would be on Friday, and then she can try next week Monday and Wednesday if need be.  Please tell your friend to join the following group:

  http://www.navyformoms.com/group/fitprogram

The ladies on there are very helpful.  If she passes, she will then go through BattleStations with the next group going and will be at PIR.  She can usually go through BattleStations as late as the night before PIR if need be.  She would be at PIR in uniform, in that case, but in the balcony, too tired to march (although some manage to march anyway).

Please have her message me if she wants more info.  This happens in every PIR group and most make the run before PIR...if they don't, they stay in FIT until they do...then when they finally make it, they have no PIR and are flown directly to A School.  I know of one girl who was held in FIT for 3 weeks after her intended PIR time, but finally did it and is a sailor.
