my son's girlfriend just got 2 letters Thursday, he never mentioned BS at all.
That is so exciting. I can't believe we are the group getting info about Battlestations. Woot! Woot! I thought that day would never get here.
Ok, ladies...so I have received BStations dates from you all for the following divisions: 115/116/117/118, 922/ 121/122. Still need 119/120 and 820. If you have heard dates, please friend request/private message me (can't post them here). I hope to have a schedule soon that I can Message out. Thanks!
Yes, you are probably right, Lala, about combining PIR groups for BStations because of Easter next week. Maybe so. Just is strange. I have only seen them do that once before.
ryanfoosmom: This is the place to vent! Always! You are not alone in your feelings...so vent away whenever you need to! And....you will find that those not in the military...or sometimes "males"...don't get the "mom" feeling going on during bootcamp! But we know on here....so share whenever!
CTsailor! I agree with Betsy! Call ahead of time. We had to tell them what time we wanted to be on the shuttle. They have several times that they leave. We chose the 6:30 shuttle. Perfect for us...
My son's letters have been short and sweet too. He's never been one to give much details about anything, but I'm always glad to see the mail man run on Thursdays. Thanks to all the questionnaires posted on this site, I have received a little knowlege about what boot camp is like for my son. Thank you!
The last couple of weeks can sometimes be as hard as the first two... not as sad but "stressful" as far as anticipation and excitement! We "get" you!
My letters are super short. They got a little better when he started adding a line a day, but they are still short. This week though, I finally got a questionaire back, so actually learned some info! I had sent a stamped self addressed envelope with this one. My son is also spending most of his time writing to his girlfriend. However, we will be there in less than 2 weeks! HOOYAH!!!
I completely understand, I have gotten 3 letters but 1 was asking for brownies, only 6 lines. I still don't understand that one. My son has been writing all his letters to his girlfriend.
I can't believe there is less than 2 weeks to go. It seems like he just left. I keep sending him letter and/or card everyday and I've only gotten one letter so far. I guess I am just missing my SR. Thank you for letting me vent. My husband doesn't quite understand why I am so upset but I know the group here will understand.
