Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

@ Bob'sMom..my little 11 yr old daughter saw the pics of the puppies and she asked if she could have one! I stated the puppies are too far away and they need their mama! They are adorable, though! We have a 14 yr old border collie holding on....she's been the best dog ever. Her health is slipping though...it will be kind of a challenge to go to PIR and leave her home. She can't travel anymore with us. 

Got a letter yesterday from SR daughter; she stated she is FFD? What does that mean....?

Jamie, I will keep your recruit and you in my thoughts and prayers. If it is shin splints they do heal pretty quickly with rest and sometimes the recruits are not delayed as long as expected. Please let us know when you hear from him. Hang in there we are all here for you <3

Oh my goodness, Bob's mom...those are the most beautiful puppies.  I told you I just love puppy breath.  Mom is beautiful, too.

lol mamabeans tomorrow is Thursday, They should be there in a couple days,had issue with the decal and ran out of yellow vinyl but you will have them very soon :-) should be there in a couple days.

I thought I would share a pic I took today. I was watering my hanging baskets and this is what I found :-)

I have been riding a high since this weekend when I got his first phone call home.  Forgot about Thursday letter day. And PHOOEY, no letters in the mailbox.

Ohh...augh...oooo PUPPIES! No wayyyyy.....I want to hug and kiss those little baby faces! Yeah...I'm a big bad stock handlin' Border Collie owner...hah! Not when there's PUPPIES around!
