teachermom....although I am sad for you, I am a little relieved. It makes me feel a little better knowing their are others who are in the same boat. I don't know about you, but I am ready to go there now and scold her for not calling me;) I'll be praying that you get your call soon, as will I. have a great day:)
Kahli's Mom-No you are not alone. We have not received a call from our SR either. He is 02/922 and I know some of those have received calls, but we haven't. It is very frustrating, to say the least. There are so many things I want to ask him about. His letters are 1 page on small paper with very little information.
Has everyone received a call from there SR. I feel like I may be the only one who has not. I can't figure it out? I just want to hear from her already. Her last letter sounded so up beat I was sure I would get a call this week. She was thinking Thursday....but that day came and went, and nothing. I am so excited to hear more about this leadership position she got, Port Watch, and how very proud of her I am. Every night I say talk to her and say goodnight to her in my head. I just want to say it to her out loud now:(
I am staying at the Navy Lodge ryanfoosmom.....as well as another Oregon mom. I would love to get together with everyone.
I believe that all of the MeetNGreets are family friendly. Sarge provides transportation to his from most hotels. It is nice if most in a division can agree to go to the same one so you can meet each other. Some start at the Ramada's and then head over to Sarge's.
so glad to hear the meet and greet at the ramada is kid friendly as my 10 yo will me with us and that is where we are staying :-)
You may be able to find someone going to at least one of the meet and greets that you could share a ride with if you won't have a car there. I have only been to the meet and greet at the Ramada so I know it is family friendly.
Is anyone else staying at the Navy Lodge? I am interested in the meet and greets but I don't know which would be close to where we are staying and if they would be kid friendly. I would appreciate any input anyone has.
Hi, everyone - I'll be away and will check in when I get back. Sending my best wishes for lots of letters this coming week!

Good advice mamabeans, I had pink eye once and before I knew I had it I had put on my makeup. A few weeks later I used the same eyeliner again and got pink eye all over again,. I guess that stuff survives forever. And it usually goes around bootcamp. So better to be safe than sorry. Pink eye is very painful.
