I was not aware of the ATT and BECC classes. How long are the classes? When do they find out if they are going to C school directly after A school?

Hi Ladies, for those that will have a Loved One in GL A school for the Holidays, first off for Thanksgiving they have a chance to get Adopted out. they will need to fill out a form and turn it in. They have quite a bit of families that will Adopt 2 to four Sailors at a time. They will be able to go to the Peoples House and have a Nice warm Thanksgiving dinner, Play Games, and the Families allow them to make a phone call home or skype. My son was Adopted last year for Thanksgiving him and a friend and they had a really nice time. we were able to skype or face time with him it was a really nice feeling knowing that he would be able to have a Nice Dinner. I have a Photo on my page it is the one where they are wearing their Black Coats. Also for Christmas they will be informed as to when to turn in their chit for time off. They will get bussed to the airport and then wait for their flight. Now Last year my Son mentioned that he was told when they are able to book their flights meaning the time allowed. Not sure why and if this is still the same.  And if they have Duty on the Day they  want to take off they must try to switch or swap days with someone else. A school usually closes for the Christmas so they usually let the Sailors take there time. Once their chit is turned in they get an email stating if approved or not. They usually have it turned in by  Dec. so around the Middle of the month they should Know and they can start making flight plans. I tried to make flight arrangements but it is best that they do it because they know the schedule and trying to guess makes it complicated. Hope this Helps Ladies.

Your welcome, Im trying to find the courses for ATT Apprentice Technical Training. See before they can begin A school they have a ATT Class and a BECC class that needs to be passed before starting A school. some parents dont know that, and sometimes instead of going straight to C school they will be sent to the fleet first to train and Later with time go finish C school. it just depends how soon they need their Rate.
