doubletrouble, so glad we will be together. Are you going to sarges meet and greet? Where are you staying? Hope I will see you Thursday night!! It is great your boys have got to see each other, when I talked to Gregory yesterday, he had not seen his brother.

CO-Twin, when my boys get to A school I am going to need tips on sending packages. I wish you were sending me a peach pie, it sound great!!

So I am wondering if doubletrobles son is in the brother division to Ellens son's?

Maybe they are getting to know each other?

Glad to hear of skinny ankles

Gotta go take a drive today to take mountain photo's for Steve. Sending him his pillow from home and some other goodies, also going to make peach pie and peach jam and oatmeal cookies to send off on Monday.

Disy, glad you got to talk to twinkle 1 & she is doing better &her ankle is getting better. Wow, section leader this week, that's cool! That's funny about twinkle 2's roommates mom being a helicopter, hadn't heard that before. I can just see her whirling around the room arranging things!
Nice to meet you Ellen. Sounds like you have raised some great kids! I bet it is comforting having one already go through bc & can ask him questions.
Cathy, isn't it great getting to talk to your SR! You said it was your second one that left that called yesterday, have you talked to the first one yet? We will have PIR together on 10/11! When is your other's PIR? We have not received the form letter from our second one yet, still praying for 10/11 there too.
Co-twin, that's good that your store has been busy! No, neither of my boys broke up with their gf's before bc, they are all still together. Darien is the one that I'm not sure will make it through bc, she has broke up & the got back together with him several times, ugh. This last time I just wanted to shake him &tell him to wake up, but what do you do? She is his first & only gf so he is pretty infatuated with her.
Hope everyone has an AWESOME weekend!

Whoo Hoo! Just had a phone call! No letter but she said she writes every night and mails them on Sunday! Our mailman just got crossed off my Christmas Gift List!!!! She is Section Leader this week - she said she screwed up on the exam to rank up because she didn't know enough about the pay grades ?? Who cares! She's a smart girl she'll do it eventually! She has those things on your collar - so excited don't know what they are called! Just happy that she sounds better! Keep prayers coming for her ankle she said thank you to all it is working!! Just have 6 more weeks to get through! Happy happy day!

Sorry to be away, my store has been busy this week!!

Glad to here the Twinkles are doing well. I asked my son for input on the mad libs but I have not heard from him in a week. I think they got very busy all of a sudden. There have been sailors being deployed immediately out of A School and on the news there is a build up of naval forces both by Egypt, the Gulf and off shore of Syria.  Worries me some. I am not panicking but I would be lying if I said that I am not thinking about it.

Cathy, so glad you finally got to talk to one of yours. Hope you will again soon. Those letters are gold for a mom.

That is cool about Darein's Division.  My sons said they keep them up on purpose to get everyone on the same schedule. Ellen could be a good New twin mom to fill you in on the special forces thing as both her boys were and are 800 division.

Boy I hope they learn to work together, things go a lot smoother if they do. Great that they get a glimpse of their twin now and again. Isn't Darein the one that broke up with the GF?

Ellen welcome!!

Doubletrouble, I also got a call today, it only last less then 2 minutes, but I still got to here his voice, the call was from Gregory. our 2nd one who left, we got his form letter yesterday and his PIR is 10/11. And my boys not got to see each other yet and when Gregory called today all he was really concerned about was his brother and what division he was in and I was at work and couldn't think of it, so when I got home I wrote Bryce's address and a few encouraging words in a card and sent them to Gregory.

Disy, I hope you get a letter, I am sure you will. I loved the letter, you can read it over a over again. These will most certainly be forever keep sakes.

Sierra, Have fun at the wedding and don't work to hard.

Have a wonderful weekend, we are going on the river with my parents in their pontoon boat!!

Doubletrouble - so happy for you ! ;0) it's totally understandable that he is exhausted! Glad he sees his brother that is cool!!! Yay! Happy Saturday!!!

We just got a call from Darein! He sounded really good, tired, but good. He is on ship 4 & his brother division is a special forces division, so he is getting the SEAL boot camp training! He said a lot of IT. He said his RDC has been an RDC for 7-10 years & has only trained special forces!
He said there are guys in his division that are causing them to have to do a lot of extra IT. He said when he arrived at bc they kept them up for 48 hours, he said he almost passed out!
Him & his friend got split up so they are not in the same ship/div & have different PIR dates. Darien's PIR is a week after the friend's so maybe when we get Jacob's form letter he will have the same date as Darien.
Darien said he has see Jacob a couple of time in the chow hall & other places bit they can't talk so they do that head nod thing! He said it does make him feel better when he sees him! We talked for about 10 minutes &he said he wanted to call his gf. As we were getting off the phone he did break down, but I told him it's ok to cry & to that he is awesome &will be great & to be strong! Wow, it makes my heart soooo happy!

Haven't heard from twinkle 1 - my letter is coming today - boyfriend got his yesterday! Another mom in her division received 10 letters! in all my time on this site i have never heard that! Twinkle 2 - seems to have settled in after a bit of a rocky start! Roommate's mom was a bit of a helicopter (unpacking and moving the girls room around!) roommate has OCD in terms of hygiene! Ugh! Anyway, by Thursday she had made friends out of her room and on her floor! And she's away - no looking back! Very proud of her !!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
