I am confused, I am reading the day by day schedule for BC and it goes every week they have 5 days and then Sunday, what happens on the 7th day??
So Shell How was your son's PIR?
The first time Steve's box came way after everyone else got theirs, I was really sad it took do long. What is it about getting a box on dirty cloths that is so attractive?
Oh double trouble we will be praying for you and your family. So they cut off those great curls? Was it traumatic? Would love to see pics.
Where will Darien go to A School? Jacob will be at Goose Creek where my Sam is. Sam says the rooms are by floors. MM's one floor, ET's one floor and EM's on the third floor. So he will have to see if they can meet up. The mom group for nukes is OK but not as fun. Because they are there for so long it is huge and hard to know what the heck everyone is talking about as there are up to 5 segments to school there. Sam said because they are all nerds and so are the Moms they aren't fun.LOL Have come across a few nice ones but not one mom in Sam's class.
I took in a friend of my twins last November. We were helping him get a GED, a visa and he was going to join the Navy. However he lost steam and was struggling then the ex to be kicked him out. He had a job but lost his room that he was renting, Got a puppy without permission. then last month his parents cam and got him and he is back home (about 90 miles away) and doing construction work. Sad He could have had a much better future had he just stuck with it.
I was pretty disappointed I didn't get his box today, I really thought since I live within a 4 1/2 hour drive from where BC is that it would surely get here today, especially after hearing about others already receiving theirs boxes last week and there son/daughter that left just the day before mine.
CO-Twin, I hate to hear that your husband has felt the need to be negative about you to your kids, that is just not right. I have been married to my kids dad twice, we were divorced for 6 1/2 years and I can honestly say that one of the reasons we got back together is because he always told the kids that they needed to behave for me and that they didn't know how lucky they were to have me for a mom.We just really never bad mouthed each other, we had a horrible first marriage, we were young, he drank to much and was not nice when he drank, but when we got divorced he learned to respect me and he expected the kids to do the same. He was very remorseful for the things he did and when he stopped drinking we got remarried. I have nothing against drinking, he just is one of those people who just can't do it. I hope your husband comes the realization that it is very important for everyone that he learned to respect you for being the mother of his kids and set a good example for them. Don't feel bad about mentioning this situation to us, we have been communicating for a while now and you had never said a word. If you every need to vent this is probably the right place to do it. We are there for you girl!!
Disy, I have to say I am hoping for tomorrow now, I had put a note on the door for the FedEx guy and I guess I while put it back up when I leave here tomorrow. I hate to wish my life away but I am ready to start communicating anyway I can with my son!! So I do hope the next few days go by fast. OH wait a second, that means Gregory will be leaving, Heck I don't know what I want. Confused!!
When my boys were in DEP I was looking at the videos and web sites and when I mentioned something to them they got all excited and said they watch stuff all the time and showed me that they were looking at. So maybe he is already and you don't know it.
I am sorry also about the ex, I try not to talk about him at all. The old if you have nothing nice to say don't go there. And he is their father. I think they are well aware of what is what.
When Steve left he had packed up quite a bit. His roon always looked OK, However When I went to clean up in there,...There was so much under the bed I don't think you could have stuck in a coin. It was disgusting, dirty cloths, dirty dishes, I found 5 salami's dating back years. Then the roof slants so the 2 dressers are about 1 1/2 feet from the back wall and it was stuffed full back there. Also both closets full to the roof. Funny as he kicked Sam out for being a slob a few years ago.
Then Sam moved in and I had to do it again (Sam was in a loft room) Then again after the foster kid left.
