For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

He says BC is going to be a breeze, funny boy!! Anyway he is pumped and I am glad because that makes me feel so much better. Still waiting for the last call and I think it will be soon. Disy, we will for sure have to stay at the same Hotel, it will be nice knowing someone when we get there. I believe we will leave on Thursday morning, of course it is really not that far for us!!

So who is our new member?? I guess I haven't got to look through everything yet!!

Comment by CO-TwinSalorsMom on July 31, 2013 at 6:01pm: We went to a great deep stuffed Chicago piazza place at that huge mall I will get the name for you at home. The pizza was 2 inches thick!! Sam ate it in dress whites!! Steve went in the peanut butter cup uniform the day after PIR as he did not fly out till Sunday. we got lucky. Peanut butter cups are black pants, khaki shirts and a black hat.

Oh how I love the letters!!! I did a lot of question pages for them also, they said it was so much easier for them. I can't wait for letters!!!
