Ok everyone, Bryce is off to the Great Lakes or will be soon I believe he is still waiting in the Airport. We took him yesterday, he checked in ans was able to spend the rest of the day with us, just had to be in his room at 10PM. We went out and had a nice meal and then went back to our room and watched the Cardinal game, so he left our room just before 10.

I really did a lot better then I thought I would, I teared up but really never cried, I was proud of him and at peace with his decision, I think I was worried about them not taking him for some reason then him leaving. We have text a few times. I am sure it just hasn't set in yet.

This is funny, I was on Facebook on the way home and I had a update that Bryce had a new friend, it was one of the girls who left with him today. There were just 3 of them and the other 2 were girls. We had talked to this girls parents before we went in and watched them get sworn in. I am glad he made a friend already and I am sure he is going to do fine.

thanks for the prayers I am sure they=ey helped keep me strong!!

Disy, I am glad to hear that things went well with your daughter also!! I can't wait to see them at PIR and hopefully we will get to meet. Let's take this ride together!!

Welcom to our new twins families.  I kind of view that we not only are support for the moms of twins but the whole family and especially the twins themselves, because when you have a twin you are part of a very special unit and they have a special bond beyond siblings.

Hey ladies...my AF friend shared this link with me today. It's about making cake in a jar to send in the mail. What a FUN idea...especially when we can't be with our sailor.http://spousebuzz.com/blog/2013/07/how-to-make-military-care-packag...

Disy...It's so good to hear that everything went off without a hitch and that you are feeling strong and full of excitement. Yea that she isn't going alone and has a few females to bond with on the way to GL.

I'm anxious to hear from Cathy too...hope she's doing all right.

I see our group is growing again. Woo hoo! Welcome CindiB.

Disy wonderful! Glad for you. Keep in touch on your day. I hope Cathy is OK. Hope her glasses are in tact. When these days came for me I spent time in their rooms. Straightening up and communing with his presence there.
Other moms posted that they did this too. Don't forget to get that last photo all together cause when we took Sam Steve was absent and he missed Sam's PIR. Don't know when we will all be together again. Am trying to get back east for Steve's ship homecoming and hopefully we can get both boys together then.

3boysmom the insurance story went on the insurance adjuster called and told me to send all my claims to her from then on. A while later I got a call from her. Her best friend came over for lunch and asked her where she got the baby photos from that were on her fridge. It turned out the best friend, four states away from me, was my sister. My twins were on this woman's fridge next to their cousins photos! Small world.
Praying for Cathy and disy.

Doubletrouble...I'm thinking about ya. Only one week left...hang in there. Just remember how far in this journey you have come already. How are your sons doing with their weigh-in? Hope everything is right on track. Your plan to do an open house sounds nice and I'm sure much more relaxing.

Oh Disy...little girls are so precious and have WONDERFUL dreams of their future princes. So precious!

Can't wait to hear about all the events surrounding you and your daughter today. Hope you and your husband are holding up so far. Onward to the FUTURE!

Disy, that's a cute story-aim high! Co-twin, I went through the same thing with insurance many times , especially when they were babies. Mine are Colin and Cameron, so similar problem. maybe we had the same insurance company!

Im praying for all the moms who have sailors shipping this week. It's definitely an emotional roller coaster ride.
