Sierrascrapper - It would have been nice if they could have gone to BC together, but at least 4 weeks will give my family time to recover from the first trip. We are going to have to drive from Idaho to Great Lakes due to the cost of flying. Both of my boys went in without girlfriend attachments as well. Like you, I am thankful that they will not have that distraction.
Disy and Cathy - My prayers are with you two as well. I am just now able to keep my tears at bay for the most part (that is a minute by minute accomplishment these days!!).
Co-twin...I will try to get a pic posted this weekend :)
Have a blessed day everyone!
Got my youngest SRs form letter in the mail today. I was so excited. His PIR is set for 9/20, just four weeks after my middle son's PIR.
CO-Twin, I watched the video, it was great, teared up a little. Now just looking forward to watching my son's go through it!!
Disy, I had to work today and I love my residents but today my heart and mind was at home with Bryce, all they had at work was my flesh!! didn't get much done!! It's going to be so hard having him gone, but then it is the best thing for him. I will be think and praying for you. Let me know when you get your I am here call, I am thinking mine should be pretty early since it shouldn't take long from St. Louis!!
Twinsailorsmom, I just figured they never let twins go in at the same time and I would never think they would be put together once they got there.
Disy, How is it going, We leave tomorrow to take Bryce to St. Louis and then he will be sworn in on Wednesday morning. My parents, his twin brother, my daughter and my husband and I will all be there.
We still have one quiet new mom. Hope you two post pictures if you son't know how it is each, you click on the picture icon on the top left of this comment box, make sure it is on get pics from your computer, once there browse pick your picture once loaded adjust size. I usually type in 150. once loaded we can click on it to make it bigger.
Wow twinsailorsmom That is unusual I think to both go to BC together. Mine went in 6 months apart but they did not sign up the same time. One of mine is at Goose creek now so he will still be there when yours arrive. He finishes A school in Febuary then will be still there when he goes to Power School. What are yours going to be at GC for? MM,EM, or ET? My first is deployed and he is an IT.
The video is up!!
Hello! I have 5 boys my oldest are my twins, 19. I have a 17 year old (lost his twin early in pregnancy) a 13 year old stepson and a 4 year old. My twins are at BC now with a PIR date in just 10 day, August 9th. Somehow they not only went to BC together but they are on the same ship and same division - lucky or unlucky I am not sure yet. They will both be going to Goose Creek for A School also. They are each others best friend and always have been. I very much look forward to taking this journey as their MOM.
