I don't have twins, but my middle and youngest son left for bootcamp 4 weeks apart.  I still have my oldest at home, but I am having a hard time finding my new normal!  My middle son's PIR is 8/23/13. I have yet to get my youngest SR's form letter with his address and graduation date.

That is a most EXCELLENT idea CO-twin. We will have to do that for sure.

Oh also when we dropped ours off at the recruiters he took a family shot of us all together. I sent it to each boy on their first letter from me in BC.  The recruiter told them that they would want that picture.

O Cathy too funny. Thats the kind of thing one does when you have newborn twins in the first few months of their life!!

OK, this is me leaving work yesterday, I took a picture because, even though I am a little worried about my sanity, I did have to laugh when I looked in the mirror, so I shared it with my facebook friends. Not only are the glasses a problem, look at that hair and you can tell I haven't been getting much sleep, I am a complete mess, but I know I am right where the Lord wants me to be at this time and I will rejoice and be glad in it and if I can brighten other peoples day by completely being out of my mind well then maybe that is the reason!! Prayers for everyone who is struggling right now, send them my way also.

Cathymg, that's a great story. So funny, but I'm sure we can all relate. The only advice I can offer is just take it one day at a time. My boys left on Jan.10 and Feb. 5, so I speak from experience. Don't think about the long term, focus on the more immediate like the "I'm here" call, then "the box", then just think as far ahead as the first letter or phone call. I'm still in that mode, can't look too far into the future--too many unknowns make it scary. If you stay with what's right ahead, it's easier to make it. You Will make it!!!!!

Oh Cathymg...you are not totally losing your mind.  At least you can laugh at the things that make you look nuts and not think about how you feel on the inside. Were you even able to function at work?  Oh man...just a couple of days left.  You can do this!  BREATHE...BREATHE...BREATHE...lifting up a prayer for peace.  Remember those squirmy hugs!

My sisters cat caught her tail on fire from a candle and then almost caught her curtains on fire. Maybe you could put it in a candle warmer and then you can tell him you warm it all the time because you miss him so much..

I wanted to tell you girls, that I think I am losing my mind. Today I put on sunglasses wore them out the work, got in my car went about 1/4 mile looked in the mirror and discovered my sunglasses only had one lens. Boy did I look crazy, and you know when you put you sunglasses on you always feel a little cooler (hip) you walk with some swagger, how silly I must of looked. Anyway hopefully some day I will be able to think straight again, right now all I can think about is taking Bryce on Tuesday and then taking Gregory a few weeks later. UGG!!

Disy, How are you doing??

Good to know CO-twin.

BTW...that pillow sounds like it is going to be BEAUTIFUL!  I want to make a regular scarf that incorporates the ruffles at an angle.  I have a cool pattern to give it a try someday.  I think I'll forever be a collector!  I collect scrapbook supplies, upcycling project supplies and yarn supplies.  I don't know that I'll ever use them all up!  LOL

Thanks Sierrascrapper  I was aware as I just got coached on how to mail to Steve on his ship.  It does not apply for BC or A school I think.
