The group for Pensacola has been so great I have not left it yet even though Steve has been gone from there for over a month now. Most on that group are aviation. Even though it is also for IT. What questions do you have? I do know the barracks that everyone wants there are called Fox Trot. It is a beautiful facility.

I am finding it harder. To make bonds with the Norfolk group. There are a few from his A School group there but it is so large and instead of being on it for a few months, there are members for years. And there are way more members. I am finding it harder to connect. The ship one is better.

For the mom's who already have kids who have left for BC, did you have a going away party and if so did, what did you do??

Sierra, My daughter Audrey loves her brothers and is very protective, she doesn't like that they are leaving, but she doesn't want them to stay here either, there is really nothing for them around here. She knows they weren't the type for college, so she has mixed feelings. Audrey and I went through pictures of the boys right before they graduated and she put a slide show together so thatwe could show it at their party. So some of the pictures I posted are from their slide show.

CO-Twin you know so much about the different positions and it is all foreign to me. I have been wondering if there is anyone else on here who has kids that are going into anything that has to do with aviation??

3boys welcome. My twin1 graduated from Pensacola in June as an IT. He was assigned to a destroyer so his housing is a rack. CatMom whom I invited to join and give advice if needed, even though se has 3daughters not twins. Her IT daughter received orders for Norfolk, not on a ship. She may find out soon. I bet it s a barracks situation.

How is your daughter handling her little brothers going off to the Navy? Your kids are ABSOLUTELY adorable and it is good therapy to share pics. When was the last time you were looking through your kids pics as little guys? It's been a long time for me.

So glad to hear your son was being cooperative and mature about preparations for leaving for BC.

God Truly blessed me with 3 beautiful children!!

I am crazy, don't know why I put dads instead of kids on my last post.  Sierra I meant to tell you that I loved the baby pics of you kids.

Please don't kick me off this group for posting to many pictures, but I do think it has been good therapy!!

Bryce leaves in 16 day and Gregory in 31. Bryce just got home from the Ozarks and I told him we needed to sit down and go over some things and he actually seemed to be listening and good with it.

Love the pics of your dads, we are all so blessed to have twins??
