Not yet...but a funny thing happened over the weekend. Nathanael got a call from one of the Navy recruiters and told him that they knew his brother was going in and asked him if he was interested. He got mad at his brother about it because he thought his brother gave them his number. I explained to him that because he took the ASVAB, all the military branches will be calling him over the summer. He calmed down a little after that. It would be a rare occasion to get Nathanael over to the recruiter's office, but he might over the next few months.

Thank you for joining us 3boysmon. Sounds Like you have twins plus one more boy? Two others here have twins plus one. So that is a connection. Please share your twins' experience with us.

Sierrascrapper. Has Nathanael gone with his brother to any of his DEP meetings? Sam had to drive Stephen to his as Steve doesn't drive. That is how the recruiter convinced him.

Mine were in the bassinet at home for a few weeks. Then they stayed in one crib for about 3 mos or so. Gosh I can't remember. They also napped in their travel playpen together. We snapped the CUTEST pic of them in their adjoining cribs that makes it look almost like a mirror image. I'll have to dig it up.

My boys were put in the same bassinet in the hospital and when we got home I put them in separate cribs but they would not have it, they slept in one crib till they got to be about a year.

Welcome 3boysmom. So glad you can join us. What is your son's rating? What is your other twin studying in college?

I have identical twin boys who will be 18 in Oct and have their Senior year of high school to complete. They missed the district cut-off by 8 days for when they could start school, so they are some of the oldest kids in their graduating class. Twin 1-Nathanael goes to a career/tech high school with a focus on graphic arts/communication. He is planning on going to college to become an English teacher in a high school like the one he attends and also continue his video production/photography ambitions. Twin 2-Jonathan goes to a traditional HS and is a section leader in the school's competition Marching Band. He has signed into the Navy DEP and will be going in as a Nuke two weeks after graduation from HS on July 1, 2014.

Sierra, that would be great if he found what interested him. There is so many good things from going into the military. Not to mention what college cost these days!!

OK ladies...I've planted the seed in Nathanael's head (the one not joining). Today I searched the Navy COOL site to find the perfect job for him in the Navy. Here's the link: https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/mc.htm
I showed it to him and it piqued his interest some. I told him he could choose to go in for the minimum and then he would get to complete his teaching degree and already have the video production/media training under his belt so he could have his dream career. It just might work! I won't push it on him, but you can be sure I will bring it up on occasion. LOL

Too adorable Cathy. Yes I'm sure I've got some cute ones like these. Goodness knows they are in my own memory bank. LOL. I hope your husband gets some good quality time with your son before he ships out to BC.

Wondering if the rest of you have pictures like these!!  I have tons, our house wasn't very big when the boys were born and all 3 kids had to share the same room so they even shared a crib when they were born.
