Yes Cathy Steve, who was actually twin B at birth, but the red hair makes him a leader. He had on one hand a frustrating division that was uncooperative and were threatened with not graduating on time,on the other hand a lot of them were strong Christians who formed a bible study and lead prayers at lights out. Sam who at birth was twin A had an awesome division that earned Hall of fame division. I put the boys in School one year I needed a break, the teacher said on parent night, "from day one I knew someone was in charge of this class and I knew it was not me." She said All the kids went to Sam for help and advice. Pretty funny, the boy has a quiet command about him, he is contemplating going to officers school when he finishes Nuke school.

I love waking up to see new updates from my FAVE group :)
Ellen...PIR is going to be extra special for you and yes your Mom will be looking down on your son and smile. Your story about your older sailor brought tears to my eyes. What a fine young man.

Doubletrouble...it's good to hear an update. I sure hope the boys get to see each other in church this week. It will be a good morale booster for both of them. You are on the getting closer to PIR now...I bet you can't wait!

Cathy...2 weeks! How exciting! It's a good thing you live s bit closer with those boys having PIR 3 weeks apart. So Bryce will be having battlestations pretty soon. I'm sure the one who is in the troublesome division will find that they will work as a team eventually. Seems like they always do.

CO-twin...true that Jonathan wouldn't get a rank change. He just likes to talk about what he is going yo do and wants to get a few kids interested.. If he gets a certain #, he will get a letter of commendation from the Recruiter District.

My son said the FS at his school told him about his first MEPS experience. I guess the guy who was rooming with him went out and got super drunk, a cop brought him back to the hotel in the middle of the night. This poor kid who is still in HS had to deal with him and help him pull himself together before they had to report in the morning. I guess his roommate was supposed to head to BC. Not sure if he made it or not. I would think he wouldn't be able to pass the necessary tests at MEPS.

DoubleTrouble , My boys are also missing each other, they haven't seen each other at all. I think Gregory really needs his brother right now!! I truly understand!!

CO-Twin, Love the picture, Handsome boy!! I know what you mean about spending time with family, I am just lucky enough to live in the same town with my parents. I am going to a quilt show with my mom today, this really isn't my thing, but I know I will never regret spending the time with her.

LuLu, Nice to meet you and glad you joined the group, I have twin boys who are both in BC right now, 1 PIR's 9/27 and the other on 10/11. I hope you son's ankle is going to be OK.

Sierra, Yes I am getting very excited, I now have less then 2 weeks for PIR for Bryce and I can't wait to see him and Gregory is now more then half way through and I will see him in less then 4 weeks.

CO-Twin, It looks like my boys are doing the same as yours, 1 is in a division that will most likely graduate with honors and they are striving for Hall Of Fame division right now and the other says that his division is arguing and they can't keep their mouths shut and he is frustrated with most of them.

Good Morning Ladies! I have been reading your older posts to get caught up. Hi Lulu, nice to meet you. Sorry its been awhile since I posted, just not enough hours in the day.
The boys are doing good, we've received a few letter & calls! They have made friends & I think found a way to get to see each other. Jacob went to a church service last week & was mistaken for Darien by the recruit chaplain assistant for Darien's div. He told the guy to tell Darien to start going to that service so I hope they do get to meet up. It is messing with Jacob's head not having contact with Darien:( He has talked about it in a couple letters. Darien hasn't really said any th ing so I don't know if he isn't having a problem or just not discussing it, he's more like his daddy that way.
Hope you have a good trip co-twin! Sounds fun. I'm jealous you will get to meet up with some of the moms.
Have a great weekend ladies!

If they get someone else to sign up they can get a pay grade increase, I think they need two recruits to get it, but if they are going in the nukes they don't cause they start out an E3.

Up until this week...Jonathan has been the only FS at his high school. Today he met a kid in one of his classes that just swore into DEP. He is going in under a SEAL contract. I'm so glad Jonathan now has another FS that he can talk to and relate to. He is still trying to get a couple friends to get with the recruiter, but they haven't really done anything yet.

Yes Sam is tall and the two are defiantly fraternal. It is pretty funny when I stand next o him as I am 5'3"

I agree with sierrascrapper. This is a very challenging program and they just need to work hard as they can and not compete.
For their time off, there is a lot to do, Sam had fun doing the rifle qualifying and combat training weekend. He also loves to go to the beach, goes most weekends. He said downtown Charleston is neat too. Good places to eat.

Twinsailorsmom. You should tell them to look up my son who is at GC. He i know has his room on the third floor and he is an EM. He may be able to help out your second one, he talked to a guy he left Colorado with who was struggling, the I think second test is a duzzy. They throw extra hard test out there sometimes. After he talked with Sam and Sam requested N4M prayer the guy is doing great now. Sam classed up mid July.
