Doubletrouble - don't want to make a difficult decision even more difficult and go against Cathy - have the wisdom teeth taken out - honestly - yes they have the rest - but on the flip side - they could get dry socket - then you are looking at 4 days instead of 2 days as SIQ - they are excellent surgeons in the Navy but if your insurance pays for it - have it where they can be home and be babies - it does hurt - the pain meds are wonderful and with everything else going on in BC it will be be less thing to worry about ! You NEVER know what is going to be going on in BC when it's time for wisdom teeth - could have a swollen ankle and already be on LLD - !!! My 2 cents!

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been absent for awhile, but I have been reading the comments in the emails. I have been preoccupied planning our trip to PIR! Both of the girlfriends are planning on going to PIR & oddly enough both of their dad's work for American Eagle, it's an affiliate of American Airlines. They both origi.ally planned to fly 'stand by' which means you can fly for free if there re empty seats. Well, we found out there is Chicago Bears game on Thurs 10/10, which is when we are arriving. One of the gf's parent decided they didn't want her traveling alone & also take a chance of not getting a seat cause of the gme, so she is traveling with us. The other one still says she's flying stand by, I'm a little nervous she might not make it, but letting her make her decisions. They are both staying with us at Navy Lodge. Now to reserve a rental car. So much...
I like all the talk about grocery shopping! That is one thing my husband was looking forward to, the grocery bill going down! He just has to learn like someone mentionwd, to cook for two. He tells people its hard since he's used to cooking for five, being us & the twins, but the twins eat enough to count for a whole other person! When our oldest moved out he still cooled the same because the boys ate his portion!
It's good to hear y'all are all doing good & keeping busy, or just ignoring the houework! Sierra, we found Navy t-shirts at Walmart. How cool is that that the recruiter asked you to talk to the DEPers. Only thing I can think to tell them is once they get to bc, keep your mouth shut & do what you're told. Fly under the radar.
Well, better go, football is on!

You know that Bryce would of probably been mad if I would have had his wisdom teeth ahead of time, he really enjoyed be able to finally git some rest and it didn't matter the reason, the rest was worth it.

I talked with the Chief at the recruiter's office today.  I am hosting a picnic/potluck for our Nevada N4M group.  This will be our first get-together here. I'm quite excited!  I made up little fliers with the info about the potluck and brought them with me.  Next Wednesday is their monthly DEP meeting.  He asked me if I wanted to talk to the DEPpers.  OMG!  I am freaking out now!  So, now I have to figure out what I am going to say.  He told me that it's good for the DEPpers to see Moms that are supportive and excited for their future.  He asked me if I had any Navy gear yet, but I told him no.  I might have to find something tomorrow that I can order and hopefully it will be here in time for the meeting. Any suggestions on what I should say?

I also asked him about Twin 2 going to the dentist and what he could have done if the doctor suggested it.  I specifically asked if he could have his wisdom teeth out or not.  He told me that basically he could have anything done except for braces.  Time to make that dentist appointment with my Navy-trained dentist!

Glad the cat was found!
God works in mysterious ways! Sometimes we don't always know the plan!
You obviously did a good job bringing them up!!

I found the cat, I went out with a flashlight looking for him and I found another cat first, so when I found my cat laying still near the front of the house and not making a noise i think he just was laying low because of the other cat. But I couldn't believe that he wasn't running to me, I thought something must have happened to him.

I didn't get any letters today from either kid. but my best friend who had written both of them got a letter from Bryce, that boys seems to be trying to write everyone who wrote him back, so even though I wish I would of got letters, I am OK just knowing that my boys are thoughtful. And my friend was having a bad day at work and the letter turn her negative feelings around, she she just cried when she saw that she got a letter from him. Everything happens for a reason. Miss those boys so much, just want to hug them.

Hi ladies - glad to hear everyone is doing well! Hope the wandering cat returned! All good - trying to put out fires for twinkle 2 by giving her sound advice and getting her to make the decisions she needs to! Her roomie is turning into a full time job - doesn't know how to do laundry - won't go to canteen alone and is texting twinkle 2 "where are you" "I'm lonely" "when are you coming back" ?? She said it is like having a sister that you can't tell to go away! LOL! Twinkle 2 is just the kind gentle twin and hates to hurt people's feelings BUT if you push her buttons she is horrible!

Hahaha I am telling hubby how much you all spend at the store! He thinks it is me!! We are saving a bit whilst the two older ones are away though!

Anyway must go and do some housework the house looks a tip!!!

Did your cat come back? I have 4 cats, 1 goes out but she is now 18 and rarely wants out. The others don't go out, Sam's cat got out recently he ran and hid, couldn't get him. I grow cat nip and later I found him in the cat nip rolling around having a blast, I'll post a pick when I get to work.
