Just seeing if I could do it.

@doubletrouble, here's how to add your profile photo:

Go to “Settings" - it's below the NavyforMoms banner at the right, in the box with your name/Sign Out/Inbox/Alerts/Settings.

That will open up the “My Settings” page. Profile will be the page you are on.

Click “Browse.

It should open up into your “Pictures” Library. If not, then click Pictures to open it.

Click on the picture you want to upload.  It should load it to the “File” box.

Click “Open." It will upload it to a box and ask you to select the “visible region of your photo."  Adjust it to your liking and then click “Save."  It will save the picture to the small box.

Now you have to save the changes you have made. Scroll down to the far right of the Profile page and click “Save."

You’ll get a message saying that “You have successfully saved your changes…go to “My Page."

LOL I DON'T have twins, but know Tracy (COmom) & came here to see how her new group is doing!  May I help?  Posting pics is EASY once you've done it once!

Here goes:

In the Comment box (this one) look at the bar across its top, starting with LINK.  The first image to the right of LINK is a little photo image and is what you click to add a photo.    Click it.

Be sure "From my computer" is selected, instead of From URL.  Click the box "Choose file" and select the photo you want to upload.  Its info will show up in the box "Link."

Now, you can change the size of the photo by changing the number in the box next to Width.  For small, enter about 150 pixels, medium about 400 pixels, and 750 is huge. (Others can enlarge the photo by clicking on it once you've posted it, by the way.)

Once you've done this, click Add Comment.

OK go!  :)

I have the same question, cathymg.  I added a picture, but couldn't figure out how to set it as a profile pic so I deleted it.  I'm so tech challenged!

How do you put pictures on here??

CO-twinsalorsmom, I have the same poem that you posted. And I loved raising my twins, I think all kids should come in twos.

Sierrascrapper, My boys did get the same scores on their ASVAB test, and they have always been a lot alike, but sports was always their thing. And I still can't put the stickers on my cars.

I might be having a little bit of a melt down since my youngest twin totaled his truck, so scary and the trucks in the back yard right now and I have to see it every time I walk out the door. I hope my husband takes care of it soon.

The boys are identical twins. They look EXACTLY alike except one wears glasses and one wears contacts. Twin 1 is very artistic and is pursuing graphic arts. He really likes to draw and loves to work on video production. He entered a few videos into the film festival this year and did pretty good. He said he wants to put an entry in for each category next year. They were so much alike until middle school, then they really found their own personalities. Hence why they go to different schools. They both are musically inclined too, unfortunately there isn't a music program at Nathanael's school. Otherwise they probably would both be playing music in school.
Jonathan is more organized and almost OCD. They are both very smart and their test scores are almost always the same. I think their ASVAB scores were only different by one or two points. Jonathan does a better job applying himself. I think that had an influence on his decision to join the Navy. Also, I worked on a Presidential campaign back in 2007/08 and Congressman Duncan Hunter's son was in the Marines and had done a few tours in Afghanistan. My sons got to meet with his son and I guess he made an impression on Jonathan. He said that was when he decided he wanted to join the military, he just didn't know which branch he wanted to join.

PS ...that's so cool that you put BOTH stickers on your car CO-twin!

I put the bumper sticker in my back window when Twin 1 went to MEPS and later added a second when Twin 2 Went.  To show I have two in.

Wow Sierascrapper  Your boys sounds like are very different from each other.  Fraternal or identical? Mine are Fraternal.  Sam 6''4" dirty blond brown eyes He is very happy go lucky accepting fun loving young man.  Artistic and very smart left brained at the same time. He has won ribbons every time he entered our big art show and he is in A school for nukes.  Got a nearly perfect score on the ASVAB without trying or scratch paper.  His twin Stephen Joined first. He is also artistic but a really different style.  He has won one ribbon for art.  He is serious outdoorsy, climbs rock and ice.  He has always been independent and the leader of the two.  He has red hair and is 5'7" He went to A school for Informations Tech. and is deployed for 7 months right now.  They both love to cook, ride mountain bikes.  Sam wanted a drivers licensee but waited till 17.  Steve does not drive yet.Living in a town of 800 there was not a big need town is 8 blocks by 5 blocks.

Being separated for the first time in their lives has been a good thing. Sam is making his own choices now and really finding himself.  It is a blessing to witness.

Oh and CathyMG, don't think of the bumper stickers as a jinx. Funny thing, after my son got back from his first MEPS visit, he got a bumper sticker and a baseball cap in his "swag" backpack. My husband took the hat right away and he wears it all the time. My son asked when we were going to put on the bumper sticker. I had planned on waiting til much later. But he insisted! So my husband mounted it on a magnet (he works for a sign shop) and then we put it on the car. I like having it back there, it shows my pride for my son.
