It's not a good idea to post a pic of your Sailor every time you post. See change 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). To increase PERSEC, don't include ANYONE in your profile picture.

Also make change 3 while you are there so that this page is no longer open to EVERYONE (Anyone) with access to the web.

There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP Code to one that is not easily associated with your Sailor.

hi there!!! Im also from the so. cal area!!! We live in Victorville.... my daughter is also in bootcamp right now.... she graduates march 9th also. I sent u a friend request.... i read the message u posted about ur sons friend needing to find transportation... what time does he arrive? We are flying into chicago, midway airport @ 330pm.... is he flying there? I wanted to fly into ohare which is closer but the tix prices were much cheaper with southwest and they only fly into midway. If he needs a ride... maybe we can help. But also , wanted to let u know, there is a taxi company advertised here that has real cheap rates... i wouldnt recommend public transit in a big city that we are unfamiliar with. I believe its called "Sarges Taxi" phone # (847)212-0246... he charges a flat rate of $52 from ohare to any of the local hotels in the great lakes area. hope that helps... but message me if u need us to give him a ride if hes flying into midway. We are renting an SUV there at the airport. it'll be 5 of us... im sure we may be able to squeeze 1 more in. lol

Yes,  sorry it took so long to respond. Work has been so busy.  His letters come on Thursdays. He will be leaving GL and going to Groton CT for A school.  This was a shock because it changed. I sent him information on the area. It does look pretty neat.  Just wish we could see him for the weekend. I believe he will fly on Sat morning..Update me on your son okay?

Hello!  We are still waiting for Ryan's box to get here.  We received his call on the 25th stating he made it there, but as of today we have not received his things or the form letter.  We were a little disappointed because we were expecting his graduation to be March 23rd, however this isn't one on that day.  I am assuming we will need to wait until the 30th so I am not sure what he will do all of this week since then it will be over 8 weeks that he will be there.  How old is your son?  We used to live in Menifee/Sun City until 2001 and the kids went to Chester Morrison.  Ryan just turned 20 and graduated in 2010.  I hope you receive your letter soon so that you can make plans.  It's so strange not being able to talk to Ryan and see how things are going.  I am glad you were able to talk to him and that he was doing well.  :)  Talk to you soon.   Stephanie
