First of all I want to thank BelovedbyHim & Chipmunk for the very informative comments and info. This was very helpful and I thank you for taking the time!
I was recently updated by by dil's mom that she has a sprang and that she will be convalescencing and rehabilitation for a month. What I need to know now is what are the rules for me about writing to both my son and dil about news on each other. Is that allowed?? I Don't want to rock the boat!

My son and his wife are both at Great Lakes. I just found out from my daughter in law was injured via her Mom through fb. I plan to write to my daughter in law (Melissa,) in the morning, but the thought of waiting to hear back is tough. Does anyone know what will happen if it is a serious injury or she is not capable of returning right away. Hi Cathy,

First of all, I want to encourage you to join the BC Mom and Loved Ones group on this site.  - Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) - Navy For Moms (ning.com) - Even if people notice and view your blogs, most of them won't reply if they are not exactly sure what to say. If you join the BC Mom group, be sure to scroll down past a lot of the information (go back and read through it though, including the pages on the right-hand side), scroll down past the discussions and then you will come to the Comment Wall on our group page. More members are likely to see your posts there (as they go to their email feeds) than most any other place on this site.

I am hoping that Ummi sees my message, because her daughter recently graduated BC after being in RCU.
