Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?

When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
It builds character, teaches them how to be a part of a team, and most of all that this is a life changing journey for our entire family. We have had nothing but positive influences since we started, even at the recruiters office. The Navy is truly one big family and they look out for their own.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Jenny Sims,

I see you recently joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!! We are a friendly caring group of moms and are always willing to listen, share and help each other whenever or wherever we can. Please feel free to join our chats, we love talking about everything from work, family, weather - whatever. Plus the joyful and anxiety filled journey of being a Navy Mom!!!  Let us support you when you're missing her, lend an ear when you need to vent, and celebrate with you when you want to brag!!  Congratulations to her graduation from A school and getting her first duty station!!  What is her rating?  My son was deployed on the GW as an AO back in 2003/2004.  We got to watch the homecoming - - it was awesome!!  We look forward to learning about you and your sailor!!!  Again, Welcome Aboard!!
