Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

What is your son's name? Ron will be and ET he is staying in USS Wisconsin right now.
Awe, you are so thoughtful! Yes, you can help by being my friend and keep me posted on your adventures with your son. I think this is so wonderful to meet people going through the same ups and downs. :o) My son and I are very close, and its been just him and I for so long that, i think he is understanding..how hard life can be. I am so proud of him to think of me. I want to thank you for your kindness and I hope to see you at PIR! Please keep in touch you are a wonderful person! Are you going to Sarges for the meet and greet on Thursday?
well maybe we will see each other Friday.. I will be the one bawling Im sure that you will be able to pick me out LOL I am a retiree from Delta so I will be flying on a pass so I am leaving on a 5.40 flight out of Montgomery, AL to Chicago O 'Hara so I am not sure when I will get there. Early mornings are easier to fly on a pass.
was so exicited that I couldn't think..My son said he knows no first names and a feww last names and that they are just now making friends..I hope my son is one of you sons buddies..My son mention a SR in Washington I think that is his bunkmate.. I am so much better now that I have heard is voice..I know for sure that he is fine. I forgot where are you staying in GL? I need to make airline reservations for his girlfriend and Sister today
My son left March 1st - how do you know your son's assignments already (07/129)? I know nothing, PLEASE HELP! Am I missing something? I got his box on 3/6 but that's it. I'm missing so bad and holding letters to mail but nothing so far . . .
Lol..well we can keep each other posted... My son is not that good at letting me know all the details either...Hopefully we can fill in the blanks... with each others help :)
