Since you have a Sailor, you can change "At Boot Camp now" above to “Enlisted.” 

If you get an error message, then look at the area/s in the error message and unclick all of the choices in the area/s and make choices closer to the question/s. Some choices may have changed since you joined.

Oh wow!!!  I sure hope they do something about her being so cold!!  That can't help if she is sick!!  Hope and pray she gets better soon and doesn't have to get set back!!!  Keep me posted!!!!

I'm so glad you got your letter!!!  Getting a leadership role in bootcamp is a good thing - congratulations to her!!!  Hope everything else continues going smoothly for her!!!

Your Sailor will most likely fly out to "A" School the day after PIR. Plan to leave late Saturday or on Sunday. See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend. 

Your Sailor can be assigned to either MM-AUX (Machinist Mate for maintenance and repair of auxiliary equipment), which is also called Machinist's Mate Engineering (MME) (See https://www.thebalancecareers.com/navy-enlisted-rating-job-descriptions-3345837 for more info.), or MM-WEP (Machinist Mate for submarine weapons), which is also called Machinist's Mate Weapons (MMW) (See http://www.navydep.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3665 for more info.), during the training pipeline. The assignment can be made prior to boot camp or during "A" School.

Divisions 065 and 066 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. Write to your recruit and ask when Battle Stations-21 (BST) will be so you will know when to expect the "I'm a Sailor!" call.

Oh Melissa, it is hard not hearing from them.  I remember when my daughter was in years ago, that she only had Sundays to write letters but if she had other things to take care of like uniforms, or extra study, she had to use her Sundays to do those things!!!!  Once things start rolling a little smoother for her and her division, she should have some more control over her time and be able to write!!!  I hope you hear from her soon.  But if you have her address start sending those letters to her.  Keep them upbeat and positive and encouraging!!!  They live for hearing from home!!!  Number your envelopes so if she gets several letters at once she can read them in order.  Good luck to your girl!!!
