Can anyone let me know once a sailor is deployed how long it takes until you have contact? I am trying to stay strong since my son will be on the opposite coast and I know it will may be 6-7 months till I see him. I am used to talking or texting him several times a week and I need to get prepared for what deployment means. How long till he has an address and can receive mail? If he chooses to live on the ship does anyone know what that will be like. I appreciate any assistance that you can… Continue
