OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hope your are doing well. My husband grew up in Houston but haven't been back for years. Our son was a nuke officer on a sub. You should be joining the Nuke Moms Group soon.

Hi, I see that you have changed your Username so that it no longer contains your last name; you also need to change the URL to this page to remove it from there as well. Number 2 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link) within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will tell you how to fix that. There may be other changes you will want to make as well, such as numbers 3 and 4.  I invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) while you are there and to check out the other Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) as well. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
