DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

He will either be assigned to ET or FC...both are very sea going rates. They have five years of sea duty before going to shore duty . It is not unusual for a ship to deploy every year...just saying.

Yes, nick is AECF. He is an FC2 and has been in about 3.5 years. His dad was also an FC so I was a Navy wife for 10 years, let me know if you have questions.

yes, my son said he passed his swimming too.  I think this week they get their individual BC jobs in their "staff" division.  Next week is called Hell Week but I haven't figured out why yet.  My SR said week three and four are the hardest.  So make sure if you talk to your SR you really wroot them on and build them up!!!  I think they do start PT testing this week

Hi Lizzy,

Glad to have you as a new friend!  I am trying to add friends who are on Ship 02-Div 936 so that we can communicate now and stay in touch even after PIR.  Tell me about your SR, mine is 24, we heard from him yesterday and he sounded good.  Heard that the next two weeks are the roughest....praying for all our SR's.
