OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Events

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Thanks so much for making this page!  My boyfriend is now in bootcamp and we plan on getting married sometime before he begins active duty.  He is a Nuke so we still have a little time to plan.  I'm hoping we can have a real wedding and not a courthouse one, but it's so hard to plan with the Military Schedule!

thank you for the invitation...my guy is only in his second week at boot so we are just beginning.  we are planning to get married in the next year but with Aircrew as his rating A school may make it difficult to plan. if so it looks like courthouse bound we'll be!

Yes, you're close by, your son is cute in his sailor suit. I grew up in the Air Force 20 years all over the country. My son have been in the Navy for 15 years, now stationed in Sasebo, Japan.
