OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

I am holding up pretty much like most. Some good days, some bad. I received a letter on Monday from my son that was actually very funny. I was so glad to "hear" his sense of humor in his letter. First letter I received that I didn't cry.

Oh my gosh I know exactly who she is! SMALL WORLD! I remember seeing her in the recruiting office on DEP days. She probably remembers me from being the strange wife who was there ALL the time! That's awesome. =)
