Whoop Whoop 8 days until PIR :):) We got a letter last night, I suspect it will be the last. It was from before Christmas! It's getting close! Yea!
I watched one video and the divisions seem to go by the camera so fast. I was hoping for a little more. So wish I could hug and celebrate my son in person. That is great that yours will stay close by. If mine goes to Pensacola then he will be within driving distance also. I just hope seeing him will be a possibility. My sister lives an hour from Pensacola so that is a plus. I wish I knew for sure that is where he is going next. Counting down the days!
14 days! Yes! So crazy, it will go by really fast for them now! I haven't heard any news...so that is good! Yes, I remember the days of little ones around the holidays. Keeps you extra busy. I only have one left at home and she's 16 so not too crazy! LOL. Glad to see you on here, I'm in and out during the week because of work and family so I get it! Hugs!
Good morning. So glad to hear from you. I think its great that our SR's have become friends and I hope they stay in touch. I am not 100% sure where my son will be going to A school yet but we have an idea. He may know by now. My husband spoke to his HR department and believes they were able to get our son removed but will have to check on next pay day. I was thinking we would have to provide proof also. I am trying to think of something to do for the graduation especially since we can't attend in person. Someone mentioned tshirts & signs and taking pics to send to their phone. Any Ideas? It won't be long now. My phone is staying glued to me.
My husband and I have already said several times today that it was so nice hearing from our son. I just feel better. I asked him about his wisdom teeth and he said since they have already come through and they are not hurting he was told he did not have to have them out right now. He was able to get a teeth cleaning. I added some more money to his calling card also. I dont want any reason that he cant call home. Sounds like they are in a good division.
Hi, my son also has had his wisdom teeth out so that's great. My other son in the USCG had them removed the last week before his boot camp grad...he looked like a chipmunk! Our oldest sounded really good and said the div was coming together. So glad we got our call yesterday, it does make you feel a bit more relaxed! HA!
Just checking in, I hope you got the call. It was later in the afternoon. Let me know...I know it's hard waiting for that call! BIG HUGS!
We got a call from our son a little while ago. He told us his division was getting to call home. Did you get a call? He did mention that they were initially told they lost the chance but I guess gained it back. I think we spoke to him for about 45 minutes. He could not give me an answer on whether they were going to be able to call home on Christmas. I will take what I can get and just so happy for the longer call today. I do hope you heard from your SR.
Sandboxx was easy and I just did one letter for $4. I attached a picture also. I just wanted to get a letter to him quickly at first but then am also sending out letters regular mail. Another mom mentioned Monday Delivery that sends postcards and you have the option of downloading your own photo for the front of card. I got my first one free for signing up. So you may want to look at that also. It was easy. Are you hearing that some are having to go back into ROM?
