wow, I know he must have been so proud of his grandson. I am so sorry that he passed before he could see him in uniform but it is awesome knowing that the ribbon brought so many fond memories and gave them a chance to share with others how proud they were/are of their Sailor. I am so glad that I was able to make the ribbons for you and your family. I hope your sailor is doing well. Send me an email if you ever want to chat, need ribbons for a homecoming celebrations or another graduation or if you need any scrapbook embellishments. My email is uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com I hope to hear from your soon. Also check out my facebook page Unique Memory Makers. Thanks again

Wow that was really fast. I didn't ship them until yesterday afternoon and they said they wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow. I hope you like them. I see you got your call. That is awesome. Have a great time at PIR. Let me know if you need any scrapbook items :-D

I'm so glad you got your call!  Mine has had a cold too and was given a "cold pack" which apparently works wonders!  Glad he was upbeat, that is so comforting to hear for us moms.  I didn't get a letter today, our usual day.  His grandmother got one, so I am hoping for tomorrow.  Last week I didn't get a letter til Friday, so I won't give up til Saturday...LOL

All I can say is,  4 MORE WEEKS!!!!

Sherrys did you get your phone call?  My son is in the same Div, 913, and the group was able to call last week.  I think they can buy the phone cards at the "store" they get to shop at every other week.  I'd like to think if they did actually need one that another recruit would have let him borrow theirs.  My son is staying in Great Lakes for A school, FC.  What is ahead for yours?  Great to meet another mom from "913!"  I sent you a friend invitation, hope it's ok.
