FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

SHE'S IN BOOT CAMP.....

SHE'S DOIN IT I GOT MY CALL SAYIN IM HERE AND I WILL HEAR FROM HER AGAIN IN 2WKS...I LOVE MY GIRL I SAT WITH HER ALLDAY UNTIL SHE GOT ON THAT VAN TO THE AIRPORT....SHE HAD A LIL MELT DOWN CAUSE SHE DONT LIKE PLANES BUT SHE DID IT AND THAT WAS THE START OF HER BECOMING STRONG. IT FELT WEIRD KNOWIN SHE WASNT COMMIN IN THE DOOR TO GO IN HER ROOM BUT IM GONNA BE STRONG FOR HER AND WAITE TO HEAR THAT SWEET VOICE AGAIN TELLING ME HOWS SHE DOIN.

MY CHILD IS ON HER WAY FOR BOOT CAMP..

JUST HAD TO DROP MY DAUGTHER OFF TODAY AT THE HOTEL FOR HER TO LEAVE AND ALREADY IM MISSIN HER SO MUCH ...THEN SHE CALLS AND TELL ME SHE MADE FRIENDS WITH SOME GIRLS AND I SAID GOOD SO SHE FEELS GOOD AND NOT FEELIN LONELY BUT THEN SHE HAD TO HANG UP AND GO GET DINNER AND MY HEART BROKE THE TEARS INSTANTLY STARTED FALLIN WHEN I HUNG UP THE PHONE SHE IS MY WORLD AND MY BEST FRIEND THIS IS GONNA BE SOOOOOO HARD ON ME BUT AT THE END OF IT I'M STILL THE PROUD MOM OF A STRONG YOUNG LADY LOVE HER…

FEELIN SHOCKED....

MY DAUGHTER WILL BE LEAVING FOR BOOT CAMP ON THE 27 OF THIS MONTH HER DATE GOT PUSHED UP TO LEAVE BEFORE JUNE 4...DONT NO WHAT TO DO IM GONNA BE SO SCARED AND WORRIED ABOUT MY GIRL WHO IS GROWING UP ....PLEASE ANYBODY WITH IDEAS PLEASE HELP ME OUT.....
