Brit heard from Justin today! He's doing ok. She got the form yesterday with
all his info. So now we can start sending letters. :0) I really wish I could have
talked to him myself but I'm grateful I have a great daughter in law that keeps
me informed!! His graduation is July 8th. I can't wait to see him!!

I was just wondering how long do we have with our sailor. I don't know whether to leave Sunday or Monday. I want as much time as I can, of course!
Has anyone found a better airport and hotel to stay?
His PIR is July 8th and i do understand to book everything early.
Thanks for your help and support. Great website to have :)

Hello ladies I recently began clipping coupons to save a little extra cash. There are several coupons I have that I have not used. I have heard through the grapevine that I can send these coupons to military families overseas. Do you know of anyone who could use them that I could send them to?
Thank you

I got my first phone call from my son yesterday at 4:40pm. We got to talk for 25 minutes, he took a calling card with him but said they are easily acquired at the store they have on base if you need to purchase one. It was a mandatory call everyone gets. Received my first letter the previous day. - Calvin said the days start at 6am and end at 9:30/10:00pm so he has been really tired and had just got the chance to write and it took 6 days for me to…

Sailor is finally done with C school and has been stationed in Norfolk, VA for the next 4 years. And that's why I'm back, not only to…

My son was sworn in yesterday! He is over - the - moon happy, despite a little heartbreak in the career counseling room. He is qualified for tons of jobs and yet not one popped up on the screen as available! I'm so new to this, therefore was very confused. Thankfully, my husband, a Navy vet was with him and after a long chat, my son decided that he wants in no matter what he has to do. He has been talking about this since he was a little boy and did not want to walk away! So, we wait,…

an emotional day. Pride, happiness, sadness and worry all rolled into one. This is my son Justin, his beautiful wife Brittany and my beautiful grandbaby Maddison. I'm so proud of him!!…
