Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I found out that my son has received the Blue Jacket Award in April. I am so proud of him for working hard and defending his country at the same time. He is deployed so I heard by email but hoping for pictures at some point.
All I can say to son is, Bravo Zulu!

My daughter will be leaving for boot camp on August 15, I have seen some posts that have said things like "this is the last one". Every holiday and birthday this year has been that for me. I know that we will spend these days together again, but it wont be the same.

Hi Thomdent...and other members of group for ship 9 div 191.
I have received one letter from my son..he did talk about that test that had to be passed and then they would get a phone call..i did not receive any call so far.:( He also did not pass the swim and have to take practice. He too had his tooth extracted...was not having san easy time.I am not handling these days well at all!! still not sure whether he would pass his PIR and be graduating so I have not made any…
