Like to talk with moms who have experience about sending care packages and holiday
What a treat to get a 3 page letter from my Son. Its actually the first letter I have ever recieved from him. To know that he is doing well and truly stepping up to be a leader. This experience is one of the best.. I am so looking forward to getting more letters from him to hear how his adventure is going. Knowing that he is learning new skills and truly becoming the man I know him to be.

My family received letters from my son yesterday so I was very excited to get home from work to get his letter, only to be saddened that my mail box was empty. The one thing I’ve learned from this new experience is patience. Hopefully something arrives today! The good thing is I got his address and immediately sent out a card with a short note. I use SENDOUTCARDS. So easy! I will be using SANDBOXX for my longer letters. My sons PIR is 11/30. I can’t wait to give him the biggest hug!

Looking for advice for my daughter-in-law. She is about 6 weeks pregnant and has polycystic ovary syndrome . She is spotting and may have a miscarriage. She is all alone there. They just arrived in September. My son left on deployment and will be back early December. She is so stressed and I want to help her but feel helpless. She is an optometrist from the Phillipines and made friends with a Phillipino spouse; but doesn't want to bother them all the time because they both work and…

Reading over the information from this site I had an epiphany. An epiphany that caused tears to flow. (I didn't think I had any more tears left.)
My son is in the Navy now and the Navy has my son. I could go up to the base and ask to see my son. I would be kindly yet firmly turned away even though MY son is behind that gate somewhere. The epiphany that I will be able to see my son at the invitation of the United States Navy and AFTER a background check. OK...that makes me laugh.…

Will graduation day be the first time we see our recruits or do we get to see them a day before graduation? And also after graduation how long can we be with them?

My son left for boot camp 2 October 2018. I knew when he left he would be a different person when I saw him again. More confident, more self assured, a life purpose, new life skills. Underneath it is a mom's fear he will not need me anymore. I am 53 and still want my mom so my fears are unfounded, but I'm still feeling them. We also may be mourning the loss of our baby who is going to transition into a functioning, contributing member of society adult.
Thinking today, my 31 year…

Quick question am I allowed to send him a picture? I have a small picture printed kind of like a Polaroid and it probably about the same size but on mine I can peel the back part and the picture becomes a sticker. I was wondering if I could stick a picture in his letter like on the paper?

Hi, so I just received my recruits formal letter and on it he enlisted someone who is not able to go, because his name is in pencil can we just erase their name and place someone else’s? Or do we just leave the information blank and send it back?
